TGIF! Yay!

It was a beautiful day outside made even more beautiful by the fact that it was Friday. TGIF!!! Evie decided to keep her red dress on for today since she didn’t put it on until so late last night. (Yes she is still mad at me about that!).   We took a few photos of her in the new dress and her new (actually original) wig in my Mom’s backyard.

When I got home later in the afternoon, I saw that the two new wigs finally arrived.  Evie had to try them on right away.  First she tried on the long Miranda wig…

I really like the color.  The texture of the hair is very different than the wig that she came with.  It is a finer wig fiber I think.  Similar to the fiber of the braided wig. I know some collectors can easily tell the difference between different doll hair fibers like saran, nylon,  etc. but I have no idea.???  I think this wig is cute but next time I try it on I will set the bangs a bit lower on her forehead so they don’t look so short.

Next I tried on the bob wig.  I believe it was called Jill.  

This wig has the same fiber as the long wig.  I had to fiddle with it a bit before I got the ends to curl under just right.  It is really cute!

Next I added a little royal blue side bow from my stash of hair clips.  Makes it look even better!

Later in the afternoon I went ahead and bought the domain name mydreamerdoll.com so I could point it to this blog and also set up an Instagram MyDreamerDoll

I feel pretty official now!  😂
