Send in the Clothes!

Today started off with a clothing experiment.  I decided to try an outfit originally made for Ellowyne sized dolls on Evianna. I had tried this same outfit once before on a similar sized doll and it didn’t work out. Fortunately it did work on this second attempt.  Here are some photos that I took this afternoon when I was working at my Mom’s house.  I think Evie looks really cute!

Here is a photo taken earlier in the day of Evie next to an Ellowyne sized doll named Neema so you can see the difference.  I had to tuck the suspenders into the back of Evie’s skirt because they were too long, but other than that, no additional adjustments were needed.  I think this outfit suits a younger doll like Evie much better.  The outfit on Evie was originally on an Ellowyne doll.  I had dressed her and Neema before Easter.  My younger daughter happened to be home at the time and told me they looked like clowns. 😂  I kind of have to agree.  I will definitely save the other outfit for Evie when I change Neema.

Evie is certainly not lacking clothing.  I received my recent order from BeachGirlDollClothes on Etsy today.  Evie was super excited to open the package tonight!

Ready to see the surprise?

Wow!  Five new dresses!  Evie is so happy and can’t wait to pick one out to wear tomorrow!  I wonder which one she will choose??? Come back tomorrow to see!  Until then…
