Today was another busy day! Evie came to the office with me again. I love having her sit patiently by my side each day. It makes me happy! 😊
She spoke to a few more friends today. This little doll dressed in blue didn’t have too much to say, but she seemed surprised as always to have visitors.
These little Barbie Tokidoki figures were also very friendly!
After work I went to a happy hour with work friends to meet some coworkers who were in from out of town for training. Evie waited in the car, but when I returned I took a few photos of her outside. The restaurant was near the water. You can tell from the sky it looked like a storm was brewing. It started to rain right after we got back in the car.
When I got home, I decided to start working on that dress that I cut out the other day. Since I was watching TV I decided to sew it by hand rather than go downstairs and use the sewing machine. Sometimes sewing tiny things made of knit fabric actually are best done by hand.
I managed to get the whole top done. Tomorrow I’ll work on the skirt. Evie is super excited for a new dress!
