A quiet day…

Although I was out and about a bit today (church, lunch with my Mom, visiting the grandchildren), for Evianna it was rather uneventful.  She did have a few moments to stop and smell the Spring flowers.  However, unlike those we saw yesterday at Hobby Lobby, these were real.

First we saw some pansies near the front steps.

Then there was a hycinth in the front yard.

It was a cloudy day, but the flowers were a bright spot!  Second bright spot was a duet in the car when Evie and I sang along to  “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart”.  There were a few times I thought she was going to burst out laughing, but we managed to keep it together through the whole song. 😂

Evie also convinced me to order a few more wigs for her today.  Last night we tried on her original wig and the Louisa wig again but decided to go back to the French braid.  However, there was lots of fiddling like I mentioned before which caused some of the hair to sneak out a bit in the back.  I am worried that over time this wig is going to look a bit frizzy and worn out.  So good to have some backup wigs in other styles that I like.

One thing in addition to the “poofiness” of the wig she came with that bothered me was the very light blonde color.  I think she looks better as a darker/strawberry blonde.  So I ordered the two wigs below in reddish blonde.

I also found the following wig on eBay.  I little pricy and I had to order it from a seller in Germany so it may take a bit to get here, but it’s super cute!

So I am excited to see when they arrive!  And so is Evie!

Until tomorrow!!!
