My Dreamer Doll: Busy Day and the New Jan Brady

So today I had a super busy day. Back to back meetings all day long with barely time to eat or go to the bathroom. As a result I didn’t get to change Evie into her new outfit until after dinner…and she was not too happy about it. Can you tell from this photo?

First we tried on one dress with the blouse under it to see if it would work. It’s a little snug but it kind of does. Definitely an option for these sundresses in the future.

We finally decided on the red dress for today and it looks really cute.

In addition to the new dresses, all week we have been on the lookout for the two new wigs we ordered from the Dianna Effner website. They were supposed to arrive today, but sadly USPS let us down. They are still in transit. But Evie has been waiting for her “New Jan Brady” moment, so we once again tried on the wigs that we already had.

First we removed her current wig. Eeek!!!

Then we decided to try on the Louisa wig again. Remember this is the wig I mentioned was supposed to look like this with bangs?

But actually came like this without bangs.

Which I don’t know about you, but it is kind of giving me vibes of this…..

So I took a chance and trimmed her hair to make some bangs. It turned out like this which is an improvement I think.

Then I kicked it up a notch by raiding my stash of barrettes and hair clips that I have hoarded over many years. (And I have lots of them) and made it look like this. Kind of a Shirley Temple vibe.

Then I brushed more bangs to the center. Even better! (I am a big fan of bangs!)

So right after I got her looking super duper cute, I decided to give her original wig another try. I have to say I like it more now than I originally did. Here it is with the addition of two red bow clips from my hoarder stash! (Thank God I am a hoarder! I can always find something to make things work!)
