Doll and Derby Day!

Today Evie and I were off to meet friends at our Afternoon Off monthly in person meeting.  Here is a photo of Evie before we left.  I finally dressed her in the MHD Designs Outfit that I bought when I purchased her.  It has been the first really warm day in awhile after so much rain so I thought it really fit this bright sunny day.

Here are some photos from the meeting.  Some were taken by me and others by my friends Jeanne and Jo.  I had to borrow some of them because they were much better than the photos that I took.

This was the grouping of dolls that I took to the meeting.  They included three of the new Barbie Looks Series dolls,  Ellowyne and Neema dolls, and of course my Li’l Dreamer doll Evianna.

My friend Ramona brought a new Boneka doll that also has a face sculpt by Dianna Effner so I posed Evie next to her.

She also brought some cute Kish dolls along with their little Kish dolls all to celebrate Mother’s Day.

My friend Kristin brought another Evianna doll wearing a brunette wig and a different MHD Designs Outfit.

 

After seeing these photos I realized there was a missed opportunity of taking a photo of the two Evianna’s together.  I will have to do it next time.

Before we left the meeting I changed Evie into the wig that she originally came with.  She still looks incredibly cute!

When we got home later in the day, I planned to change her into another outfit with a hat for the Kentucky Derby but I didn’t get a chance.  Maybe tomorrow.  She was wearing a hat already, so I guess that counts.  😂

Hoping to get a chance to get some sewing done tomorrow.  I was too tired tonight to do anything but sleep when I got home. 😂  Until tomorrow!
